On 2/27/2024, as a reward for the STAQ Silver Championship Team dropping over 180 seconds of time collectively, Coach John swam an 800 IM and was later recognized with the Golden Goggles for his effort. With much support from the team and community, he finished with a time of 12:52.50; however, now the challenge has been brought to everyone at STAQ! Anyone who is able to finish the 800 IM will be forever immortalized below, and will recieve the coveted STAQ 800 IM Challenge award!

The rules are simple: complete an 800 IM observed by the STAQ coaching staff- good luck!
