New Date: Butterfly Clinic with Angie McKane!

John Nord

Dear STAQ Families,

We wanted to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude for your understanding and support regarding the recent rescheduling of our Butterfly Clinic.  As many of you know, the unexpected power outage on Friday night posed significant challenges to the high school operations, particularly concerning the safety and availability of the pool facility.  Unfortunately, this meant that we were unable to procced with the Butterfly Clinic on Saturday, as planned.

We are happy to announce that STAQ has secured a new date for the Butterfly Clinic!  We will be offering two separate swimming sessions designed to accommodate individual skill levels:

Date: Saturday, June 21, 2025

First Session: 9:00am-11:30 am is designed for Age Group 1, Age Group 2, and some Senior swimmers who are currently working on proper technique, body position and the rhythm of the Butterfly stroke.  Please consult with your Coach, if you are unsure which session to register for.

Desired Equipment for the First Session:  Fins and pull buoy.

Second Session: 12:00pm-2:30pm is designed for Senior swimmers who are ready to work on their technique enhancement.

Desired Equipment for the Second Session: fins, pull buoy and paddles.

Location: Corning-Painted Post High School Pool

Cost: $25 which is required to cover the pool facility use.  STAQ TeamUnify account holders will have their card on file charged after the attendance is confirmed.  All other participants are asked to bring a check payable to Southern Tier Aquatics, or $25 cash to the clinic.

For more information about the clinic, please refer to the attached event description.  To register, please log into your Team Unify Account and select Events & Competitions on the left-hand side menu bar.

Whether you are a beginner looking to improve or an experienced swimmer aiming to refine your technique, the Butterfly Clinic with Angie McKane is an event you won’t want to miss!  We encourage everybody to attend this event!
